About the Department
The Department of Civil Engineering is established in the year 2012. It offers an UG Course namely B.E Civil Engineering, which was started in the year 2012 with a Sanctioned intake of 60. It is the most pioneering branch of engineering, which deals with design, construction, maintenance of buildings, bridges, dams, roads and other human habitat. Undergoing Civil Engineering course will enable the student to understand the basic concepts of infrastructure, modern methods of construction, maintenance and safety aspects. It is broadly categorized into several sub-disciplines, namely environmental engineering, geotechnical engineering, structural engineering, transportation engineering, urban engineering, water resources engineering, materials engineering, coastal engineering, surveying, construction engineering, remote sensing, etc.
VISION

To inculcate entrepreneurial skills through strong Industry-Institution linkage.
Career Opportunity
Civil engineers build the world’s infrastructure. In doing so, they quietly shape the history of nations around the world. Most people can not imagine life without the many contributions of civil engineers to the public’s health, safety and standard of living. Only by exploring civil engineering’s influence in shaping the world we know today, can we creatively envision the progress of our tomorrows.
laboratories are fully equipped with systems and latest software with an environment to implement and experiment knowledge acquired in the classroom.
Academic achievement matters a lot to students’ lives as it plays a huge part in shaping responsible individuals. Students must stay focused to learn valuable knowledge for better academic results. Indian parents are rigorous and particular about their children’s grades, they make sure students priorities academics more than any unnecessary distractions.
