Language Laboratory
Effective Communication is significant for managers in the organizations so as to perform the basic functions of management, i.e., Planning, Organizing, Leading and Controlling. Communication helps managers to perform their jobs and responsibilities. Communication serves as a foundation for planning. All the essential information must be communicated to the managers who in-turn must communicate the plans so as to implement them. Organizing also requires effective communication with others about their job task. Similarly, leaders as managers must communicate effectively with their subordinates so as to achieve the team goals. Controlling is not possible without written and oral communication.
The Lab has 66 Pentium-IV work stations plus one server for the teacher. There are two software’s namely English Mastery and Globarena to make the students familiar with the basic language skills. The Lab offers an opportunity to learn English and to enable the student to get placed in reputed national and global companies. This Lab. is very much helpful in language teaching as well as developing interactive and group communication skills in an effective manner.
Seminar Hall
V.S.B College of Engineering Technical Campus has a well-equipped Seminar Hall with a capacity to house over 1000 people. It helps to organize conferences, carnivals and congregations within the Campus. It is an ideal venue for seminars and conferences. It includes the latest digital sound system with extra woofers, LCD projectors and automated screens in order to cater to the diverse needs of the participants and the presenters.
